The professional activity of Eng. Luca Protasi is built upon over 27 years of direct experience in the fields of construction, surveying, safety, and property management. A journey that began in 1999 with his professional internship and culminated in earning a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and registering with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Siena (Section A). Today, Studio Protasi provides comprehensive solutions that combine rigorous engineering expertise with the solid, practical experience gained through decades of construction site management.

Milestones and Consolidated Expertise
In over two decades of private practice, Luca Protasi has secured major technical assignments for Public Authorities, the Judiciary, and prominent private clients, operating as an external consultant and designer on highly complex projects.

Engineering, Design, and Public Works

• Building Design and Structural Competencies: Design and construction of complex civil buildings, restoration of historical complexes (former tobacco processing facilities), offices, and comprehensive renovations, up to the execution of passive timber houses in high-seismicity zones. Specialized support for seismic assessment studies on school buildings through FEM modeling and construction site safety coordination (Legislative Decree 81/08).
• Infrastructure and Territory: Design and Construction Supervision of motorhome service areas (Siena and Montepulciano), road sections, and related urban development works.
• Institutional Collaborations: Specialized technical assignments for the Municipalities of Montepulciano, Siena, and San Casciano dei Bagni, the Azienda USL Toscana Sud Est (South East Tuscany Local Health Authority), and the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park.

• Key Experiences: Surveys and data processing of the Cathedral of Montepulciano, the Bishop’s Palace, and the Chianciano Thermal Park. Surveys of the Palace of Justice in Rome (Piazzale Clodio), portions of the Vittoriale degli Italiani, and historical complexes such as Villa Buschetti.
• Real Estate and Businesses: Comprehensive surveys of agricultural estates and residential complexes up to 20 property units, managing the complex architectural volumes typical of the Tuscan territory.

Expert Appraisals and Property Management

• Judicial Sector: Serving as an Expert Technical Consultant (CTU) for the Court since 2003, performing property valuations and technical assessments on complexes up to 7,000 sqm.
• Condominium Administration: Since 2015, the “Technical Administrator” approach ensures exceptional oversight, combining management expertise with a solid technical foundation.

Since 2026 – Civil and Environmental Engineer Registered with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Siena (Section A) Evolution of Studio Protasi toward integrated design and multidisciplinary coordination. Activity focuses on the comprehensive management of complex projects, combining the master’s degree qualification with established field experience.

2003 – 2025 – Private Practice (Surveyor / Graduate Surveyor) Over twenty years of independent practice dedicated to design, construction supervision, and specialized consulting for public and private clients. This period marked the development of expertise in high-technology 3D surveying and condominium administration.

1999 – 2002 – Training and Technical Collaboration Beginning of the professional path with a two-year internship and subsequent activity as a technical draftsman. A foundational phase dedicated to on-site training, understanding construction site dynamics, and direct dialogue with local contractors.
